10 Most Iconic Mortal Kombat Weapons

6. Mileena's Sai

When Kitana's distorted clone, Mileena, debuted in Mortal Kombat II, she made an instant impact due to her phenomenal agility. This nimble hybrid could perform outrageous combos at super speed that were so complex, not even the co-creator, Ed Boon, knew how players pulled them off.

Despite the fact she was a palette swap, the deranged doppelgänger was easy to recognise due to her sai blades. At first, these triple-tipped daggers may not seem particular intimidating (especially when you take into account that they are mainly used for defence in the real world).

But in Mileena's nimble hands, they are lethal. In all her appearances, these blades have proven integral in Mileena's attacks, kombos, and fatalities. In Mortal Kombat 11, she performs a new attack where she hurls her Sais and then teleports to their position, proving the programmers are still creating new ways to utilise her weapons.

They have become such a core part of Mileena's identity, she has used them in every game she has appeared in. (Except Mortal Kombat Gold. We just pretend that didn't happen.)
