Some martial artists are so versatile with their weapons, it's almost like it is a part of them. But for Baraka, that couldn't be more literal.

Like all Tarkatans, Baraka was born with a blade embedded into each forearm, which he can sheathe at will. Spanning four feet long, the nomadic leader can use his organic swords to stab, hack, or guillotine anyone that has the gall to challenge him.

Even though bladed arms is a cool idea, you'd assume there's not much variation in Baraka's fighting style. And you couldn't be more wrong. After appearing in ten entries, the developers have orchestrated dozens of unique moves for Baraka.

Using his awesome blades, he can have his opponent staked, impaled, skewered, or decapitated. He can spin like a dreidel, shredding anyone in his proximity. He can lunge at his rival, plunging his blades into their chest. Or he can snap one of his blades off and embed it into the other kombatant, causing them to bleed to death.

Since Mortal Kombat 12 is pretty much guaranteed, it will be curious to see what inventive attacks the developers cook up for Baraka in the future.
