Battlefield 4 plays host to one of the most maddening and bizarre Easter eggs in video game history, nicknamed "The Illuminati Easter egg" by the fan who discovered it, YouTuber Jackfrags.

To discover the egg, the player must first find the faint skull design on a wall on the Dragon Valley map, which will also reveal a Morse code message from the developers. You then need to complete a logic puzzle by pressing various hidden buttons to light a series of torches, which will then unlock a keypad.

Pressing the keypad will deliver another message and direct the player to visit another map entirely, where standing by a certain rock will play a slowed-down audio clip.

Speed the clip up in an editing program and it reveals a character from the animated series Battlefield Friends speaking the words, "Little birdy legs."

And here's where it gets complicated. By giving the words "little" and "birdy" their numerical values in the alphabet and then multiplying the number strings of each word, you'll end up with a code, which unlocks the keypad back at Dragon Valley.

This plays yet another Morse code, instructing players to join a ranked conquest match, visit the water tower for two minutes, then input a unique code into the keypad there.

Another clip from Battlefield Friends will play out, and when the game ends, visit your equipment menu to find the "LA DICE" camo gifted to you.

While a cosmetic item might seem like a pretty paltry reward for all that hassle, this particular camo was previously only available to members of the game's LA development team, and it's one of the cooler-looking camos in the entire game at least.
