Yes, turns out Elden Ring players have spent the past two years banging their heads on a final boss that launched with a key feature missing - the ability to hop on your mount and gallop around the Elden Beast's gigantic lair.
Given the vast size of the arena the battle takes place in, it's always been obvious that the fight was built around the player being able to summon their steed to chase down their prey - especially as the Elden Beast has a nasty habit of warping from one end of the battlefield to the other.
God knows why FromSoftware left out such a vital aspect of the fight, or why it took them so long to get around to fixing it. But the realization that, due to the developers negligence, gamers have been effectively fighting Elden Ring's final boss with one hand tied behind their backs is enough to make you break down like a Lovecraft character who just realized their life is controlled by the whims of careless, idiot gods.
