It's arguable that Vice City just might be the most iconic entry in the GTA franchise, due in part to its irresistible 80's era setting. It helps that its ending is one giant homage to the ending of the Al Pacino classic Scarface, with you as Tommy Vercetti shooting it out with an army of mobsters within the halls of his extravagent mansion.

There's nothing like a good old fashioned shootout to cap off a now classic game. This mission is a perfect mix of old school shoot'em up action and dramatic stakes. Tommy gets betrayed by his associate Lance, who you thought was his most trusted and loyal ally. He also seeks his revenge on Sonny Forelli, who was responsible to sending Tommy to jail. There's lots of guns and bullets galore, and by the end you'll have painted the mansion in red.

With its seemingly endless waves of enemies, this mission can be pretty difficult, despite its simple structure. But the payoff at the end, which sees Tommy taking total control over his criminal empire, is very satisfying. It's like if Scarface had a happy ending, making this mission an especially popular one within the fanbase.
