The final unlockable for scoring 100% on the absolutely huge Grand Theft Auto V is a special side-mission which finally makes reference to the long-standing rumour about the GTA series having a hidden sasquatch. It’s a truly fantastic, sarcastic note to end everything on. The game’s online portion has something lesser but, in its own way, just as special.

GTA Online’s Heists update brought the Elite Challenges; requirements that made the game’s heists an altogether more gruelling affair.

If you’re devoted enough to the cause you do get a small reward for completing every one of the tasks. The unlockable piece of clothing reads “I beat every elite challenge and all I got was this lousy t-shirt”. It’s more than just a dumb gag though and may bring a wry smile to the face of long-time GTA fans.

This is a nod to a very familiar unlockable in the 2002 PS2 title Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Getting everything in the game nets the player a Frankie Says Relax style tee that states “I completed Vice City and all I got was this lousy t-shirt”.

It made GTA Online’s unlockable outfit not so lousy after all and instead a really nice callback for Grand Theft Auto diehards.
