10 Most Overlooked Video Games Of 2016
6. Inside
Bizarre, that’s the only word to describe this game. Made by Playdead, the developers of the monochromatic Limbo, Inside is every bit as unnerving and horrific as its predecessor, however, this time its presented in 2.5D and has flashes of colour, such as the protagonist’s red jumper.
The death animations alone are worth the price of entry, from being torn apart by dogs to getting blown into smithereens by shockwaves, Inside pulls no punches.
If you haven’t tried either of Playdead’s titles yet, I’d still recommend you play Limbo first, solely because it’ll make the upgraded experience of Inside feel that little bit more special.
