10 Most Overlooked Video Games Of 2017 (So Far)

6. For Honor

For Honor is a fighting game, plain and simple. Although it doesn't initially resemble the likes of Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, the title's third person hack-and-slash gameplay adopts the same 'git gud' ethos of those titles, and is all the better for it.

Choosing from a wide array of characters with unique weapons and fighting styles, For Honor is a tricky game to master, and its demanding 1v1 combat system definitely takes some getting used to. While this means that you'll be decimated if you jump straight into an online bout, if you spend the time to learn the title's systems, investing in finding a fighter that best suits you, then Ubisoft's weird medieval experiment offers one of the most unique online suites in recent memory.

It's definitely going to be hit-or-miss depending on how much patience you have for this kind of experience, but if you can get on board with For Honor's original brand of brawling you won't ever look back.
