10 Most Overlooked Video Games Of 2017 (So Far)

5. Farpoint

Although it's been rather successful so far (despite being plagued by manufacturing issues after it launched late last year), the PSVR has only received a handful of "proper" games since its release. And even though there's been some standout titles that have showcased the hardware's potential, none have completely fulfilled it.

None until Farpoint, anyway.

The first real first-person shooter to drop for Sony's headset, Farpoint is a dream to play. Solving some of the problems that come with transferring a straight-forward shooter to VR (for instance you're always pushing forward and never have to turn around - an approach which is nowhere near as limiting as it sounds), the game isn't just a tech demo and a promise of things to come, but a true beginning for a classic genre on VR.

And hell, forget all that, because there's just nothing quite like closing one eye to line up the perfect headshot in Sony's latest shooter.
