You may have come across Drizzt Do’Urden in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting for D&D, but we’re here to talk about his appearance in Baldur’s Gate, or more accurately, his twin scimitars.

While not easy to obtain, as you’ll need to kill him off or distract him for long enough so some foes handle him for you, his trademark scimitars are a phenomenal pair of weapons.

Named Icingdeath and Twinkle in the enhanced edition and the significantly more long-winded Scimitar +3, Frostbrand and Scimitar +5, Defender in the original games, the weapons are certainly worthy of a legendary drow hero.

So, you know, you’re going to want them for yourself. Aside from the impressive damage, that +5 on Twinkle making it the best scimitar in the game, Icingdeath gives +50% to fire resistance so if you can pile another 50 on top of that from other items, you can actually heal from fire damage instead of being hurt.

You can certainly do an awful lot worse. Assuming you're willing to use a hack to get the gnolls to kill off Drizzt otherwise you may get flattened.
