6. Dagger Of Xian
Tomb Raider 2 features Lara Croft hunting down the Dagger of Xian, which allows those who have the courage to plunge it into their heart to gain the power of a dragon and transform into an almighty monster.
The second game begins with a cutscene from ancient history where the Dragon Emperor of China had used the dagger to help him conquer new territory and wage war on those who stood against him. In a great battle, Tibetan Monks manage to grab the dagger from the dragon's underside and remove it, which kills the beast. The Monks take the artefact and lock it away in a temple that they fill with traps, hoping that it will never be recovered.
Gianni had managed to get hold of the Seraph, which would help them reach the dagger but only found misfortune when their ship was bombed and left to rot at the bottom the sea. In the modern day, Gianni's son, Marco Bartoli and his cult, Fiamma Nera, have been searching for the artefact that would lead them to the dagger. When he succeeds and reaches the dagger before Lara, it's lucky she's there to put an end to his reign of terror.
The Dagger remains under Lara's protection in her secret trophy room in Croft Manor.
