4. Uchigatana
If you haven't quite had the chance to dip into Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, you can pretty comfortably live out your ninja fantasies by picking up the Uchigatana. All you need to do is best the irritable Undead Merchant in the Undead Burg in hand-to-hand combat, and he'll drop this fine samurai sword.
The katana weapons in Dark Souls provide you with some of the fastest attacks in the entire game, and the Uchigatana complements this speed with a relatively solid range to attack (especially while two-handed). Combo these swift strikes together, and you'll deal a solid amount of damage, all the while building up bleeding damage too.
One trade off which does make the Uchigatana a bit of an outlier is that it will likely require repairs a little bit more frequently than other choices. Nevertheless, the speed and versatility that the Uchigatana offers a player more than makes up for this; load up on Repair Powder and you'll be good to go. With its A rank scaling in dexterity, the Uchigatana is definitely a solid choice for a pure DEX character run of the original game.
