For millennia, she has been responsible for guiding the destinies of individuals and has created multiple timelines. She is also a Titan, a race of beings that surpass the strength of even the Elder Gods themselves. In fact, she is the mother of two Elder Gods, namely Cetrion and Shinnok, whom she created for the balance between good and evil.

In Mortal Kombat 11, Kronika is displeased with Raiden's recent actions and manipulates time to bring back several MK characters from the past such as Shao Kahn, Skarlet, and more. The Titan recruits these villains and makes strides in manipulating Raiden and Liu Kang into turning one another as the pair are the biggest threats against her plan.
