2. Fire God Liu Kang
As a human, Liu Kang is already one of the strongest Mortal Kombat fighters out there, having defeated Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, and Shinnok during their several attempts at invading Earthrealm. The reigning Mortal Kombat champion, he is humanity's best hope when it comes to salvation.
In Mortal Kombat 11, the revenant version of Liu Kang merges with his past self to double his power. In an attempt to save him, Raiden decides to merge with the fallen hero which in turn, transforms him into Fire God Liu Kang. Now possessing the powers of the Thunder God and immune to Kronika's time manipulation, our hero then leads the charge against the Keeper of TIme.
Both powerful and intelligent, this new form of Liu Kang defeats Kronika by the end of MK11 and even is smart enough to trick Shang Tsung into doing his bidding during the Aftermath DLC.
In the end, the God of Fire is now left to his own devices, and will be responsible for the creation of a new universe, seen in Mortal Kombat 1.
