10 Most Powerful Weapons In The Fallout Franchise

3. Tank Cannon - Fallout Tactics

Fallout Tactics is a rather overlooked game in the Fallout franchise, as the game is wildly different from all other entries due to its unique combat mechanics which allowed for the player to choose whether they want to fight with the classic turn-based fallout combat, squad turn-based combat, or Continuous turn-based combat, which allowed for everyone on screen to move all at once.

The fact that the player controlled a squad of survivors instead of a single all-powerful Vault dweller allowed for all sorts of interesting combinations in skills, weapons, and even drivable vehicles - something that has not been seen again in any other Fallout game without the help of mods.

One vehicle that can be found in Fallout Tactics that completely changes the game is the Tank found near Reaver Movement HQ in the junk city Newton. Somehow, this tank survived for hundreds of years of nuclear fallout and sat patiently until it fell into the hands of the player. And the best part? The cannon still works.

The Tank deals 50-120 damage a shot, with a range of 50, and an HP count of 395. It even seats 5 which essentially means the whole squad can hop in the tank and cruise through the rest of the wasteland.

Obviously, there are many good reasons why tanks aren't found anywhere else in the franchise, but who can honestly say they wouldn't want to drive a rusted-out futuristic Sherman Tank into a horde of Deathclaws or wipe out the Brotherhood of Steel from a safe distance?
