10 Most Replayable Sci-Fi Video Games Of All Time

8. Half-Life 1 & 2

The name Half-Life is one that inspires a challenging mixture of emotions in the hearts of gamers.

On the one hand, both 1998's Half-Life and its 2004 sequel Half-Life 2 are games that are well loved by majority of people who have experienced on them. On the other, the 16 years spent waiting for the next instalment of the franchise went some way towards giving the existing games a bittersweet taste.

Even after the release of Half-Life Alyx earlier this year, it's still hard to stomach.

Half-Life's diehard fanbase is a testament to the games' replay value. After years without any new content, Half-Life was still being enjoyed and praised the world over, and if that doesn't sell you on it, then ask any one of the franchise's rabid fans.

There's very little about Half-Life not to love, and although graphically it now appears dated (as you might after two decades or so), its gameplay remains as exciting as ever.
