10 Most Replayable Sci-Fi Video Games Of All Time

7. Portal

Mass Effect Garrus
Valve

It would have been a cold injustice for Valve to only make one appearance on this list.

Alongside the incredible Half-Life franchise, 2007 puzzle platformer Portal and its 2011 sequel, Portal 2 were an undeniable success for Valve.

Most puzzle games, by their very nature, lack the basic elements that make regular replays desirable. After all, who wants to solve the same puzzles time and time again, year after year?

When it comes to the Portal series, apparently, we all do.

Portal's unique blend of logic puzzles, platform puzzles and its bizarre sense of humour make for not only enjoyable gameplay, but for something both unnerving and wholesome all at once.

Its physics based puzzles are challenging and rewarding, and the simple colour schemes of the games mixes so well with its sci-fi setting that its impossible to stop at a single playthrough.

There's also the small matter of the franchise's disturbingly entertaining easter eggs, which are worth rediscovering just to make sure you didn't imagine them.
