10 Most Replayable Video Games Of 2018
6. Monster Hunter World
Cited as the "the one that broke the Western market", Capcom's long-running series smashed it with this year's iteration.
Often polarising opinions with its difficult approach and steep learning curve, MHW was more user-friendly this time around for new players to get into. Whilst not initially easy, it's far more approachable than its predecessors.
Still maintaining the focus of grinding for new weapons and armour, across many missions, it's not as punishing as it used to be. Whilst the experience can be done by yourself, it's encouraged and much more fun to form a troupe of hunters to divide and conquer.
Replaying missions is preferred, with tougher enemy forms as you progress throughout, you're always on that grind to get the best equipment. Later missions won't let you access them until you have a prerequisite Hunter level, and some enemies will straight up punish you if you're not properly equipped.
Whilst "replaying similar missions" may not sound like a winning formula on paper, it has to be played to be believed. Whether playing with veteran hunters or greenhorn explorers, there's no better feeling than tackling a fierce monster in style with your friends.
