This PS3 exclusive opens with a bike courier called Cole getting involved in an accident, causing him develop electrokinesis (as you do). Throughout the playthrough, the chrome-domed protagonist can decide how to use his newfound abilities, which will alter his Karma path.

Much like Knights of the Old Republic, certain powers can only be unlocked by embracing good or evil. Also like KOTOR, accepting the dark side is a lot more fun. Try as you might to do the right thing, it's challenging to play the hero after getting a taste of the nasty stuff.

Behaving like a valiant superhero allows Cole to take enemies down non-lethally using controlled bursts of electricity. However, tapping into the darkness lets Cole shoot a constant stream of electricity, allowing him to topple structures and annihilate multiple enemies at once.

Not giving a damn about collateral damage or the needless lives taken doesn't just make things easier, but grants Cole a diverse range of abilities, making the playthrough more satisfying. Although Vent Dash helps Cole move quickly, Evil Karma will upgrade it to Vent Launch, allowing him to catapult himself across the city. As a good guy, Cole can summon an Angel. But by becoming the antagonist, he can conjure up three Demons. Basic math proves which of those choices is better.

Simply put, Evil Karma doesn't just provide different upgrades, but superior ones.
