5. Voodoo Doll - Blood

For those of you who haven't had the chance to play Blood, you are missing out on a retro FPS treat.

It's a game that moves with the confidence of Doom, has an incredibly vast array of locations and gruesome enemies, but at its core it's got a fantastic set of weapons to get your hands on.

From explosive timed mines to a pitchfork, to the trusty and weighty shotgun there's not a single weapon that feels useless as each will leave you with a blood splattered smile on your face. However, one of the most interesting and rather out there weapons has to be The Voodoo Doll.

This has a brilliant mechanic in that you stab the doll to cause damage to any enemy on screen, and can even get rid of the doll to clear the screen of enemies. It even does more damage to zombies due to their connection to the mystic art.

Yet, as with the concept of Voodoo itself, there's always a twist, for if you use the doll when there are no enemies present, the damage will be done to you as your character stabs himself with the pin by accident.

It's incredibly satisfying to wipe out everyone on screen with a few prods, and it got even better with multiplayer in the sequel where it could actively blind your opponents!
