10 Most Terrifying Enemies In The Fallout Franchise

5. Ghost People

The Ghost People of the Sierra Madre Casino are neither alive nor dead, but caught in a horrible limbo somewhere in between. No wonder they're so grumpy.

Ghost People were created when they became stuck inside of poorly-built hazmat suits that were supposed to protect them from the Cloud, a combination of corrosive gases and toxins only found at the Sierra Madre. Scientists at the Big MT not only created the Cloud as an experiment, they also created the suits and made them faulty on purpose to study the effects of the Cloud on humans. Experiments within experiments.

The Ghost People hang out where the Cloud is heaviest and attack with remarkable speed and agility despite normally shuffling like zombies. They are instantly hostile and hunt in groups, carrying melee weapons which they use in quick, darting lunges, making them difficult to target.

Unlike any other character in the game, they can't simply be shot, oh no. To put them down for the count, they have to be dismembered, blown up, or eaten by your companion Dog. Otherwise, they will get back up and resume attacking.

Knowing there are mutated people behind those glowing green hazmat masks, hearing their tortured breathing while sneaking around the Sierra Madre, is a nerve-rattling experience.
