For those that like their survival horror in the more traditional manner, the Remothered series has been something of a saving grace in recent years. Sure, the games may not be the most refined and Broken Porcelain was an absolute train-wreck on launch, but there's a reason that this series has a devoted cult following.

And that's because much like the classics of the genre, it has a great eye for distinctive characters - case and point, The Red Nun.

The primary antagonist of the first game - as well as being a constant thorn in your side in the sequel - this crimson-robed psychopath will constantly chase you down as you try and escape the dark and shadowy mansion that you're trapped within. Very much in spirit of the games of yesteryear, there's little you can do in order to fend off The Red Nun, so avoiding them completely is the best course of action.

But be warned, as they clearly have very finely tuned ears as the sounds of Jennifer's high-heels clicking along the hardwood floors will immediately alert them to your presence and you'll soon find yourself coming to a very gruesome end.
