Yoshi's Story is one of the most underrated games to have ever graced the Nintendo 64. The level designs were stunningly bright and exuberant giving them a distinct cheeriness that perfectly encapsulates what it's like playing as an adorable dinosaur with a tongue like Gene Simmons.

In the story, Yoshi Island is hit by a dark spell which not only turned their once beautiful, vibrant home into a storybook but also took away The Super Happy Tree!

None other than Baby Bowser was behind this act of pure evil which spurred on a bunch of baby Yoshis to take him on and bring back The Super Happy Tree.

Adorable, right?

The story gets more charming and cute when the first boss shows up: Cloud N. Candy. This fluffy henchman is essentially a smiley cloud who utters these fighting words:

"Slurpity-Slurp, I'm so sweet. You can't lick me. Burrrp."

This boss battle lasts about 30 seconds as it harmlessly bounces around the screen giving out health every time a piece of it's cloudy armour is licked away.

As useless and easy as this "baddy" is, it sets the tone for the game beautifully and is a lot of fun to take down.
