5. Spider-Man: The Movie

Look, we get it. Looking back at Spider-Man: The Movie, you can see how it doesn't hold up as well as say...Spider-Man 2 (also based on the movie).

But despite the fact that this game isn't as good as Spider-Man 2, it's still great fun to play. If you can get past the fact that Spider-Man can literally swing in mid-air and hovers in some kind of bizarre limbo state, then you'll enjoy yourself greatly.

The game loosely follows the plot of the original Spider-Man movie starring Tobey Maguire. However, it further expands upon the plot with additional sections including villains such as Shocker, Vulture and Scorpion.

One of the best parts of this game is the fact that if you complete it on hard difficulty or above, you'll unlock the Green Goblin as a playable character! This is no simple outfit swap either - the Goblin uses his glider, and has his own unique moveset and abilities, making your second playthrough as Norman Osborn completely different to the first.

Then there's the iconic tutorial, narrated by Bruce Campbell, who is a little harsh on Spidey to say the least!
