10 Most Useless Character Customisations Found In A Video Game
7. Grand Theft Auto Online
Despite being an online mode in one of the best-selling video game franchises of all time, Grand Theft Auto Online's character creator freaking stinks.
The biggest issue with the customisation is that it hinges on the admittedly interesting idea of picking your avatar's parents from a list of presets, which the game then uses as a base for the rest of the customisation.
Though you're able to modify individual aspects of your avatar's face, it's tougher than it should be to make a character that actually looks specific in any overt way, and feels weirdly low-effort coming from a studio so thoroughly known for their meticulous detail.
Hell, you can't even adjust characters' height for some baffling reason.
Despite the game being a colossal money-spinner for Rockstar, they've largely left the fundamentals of the character creator untouched since GTA Online launched, which feels like a grossly missed opportunity.
