10 Optional Bosses Harder Than The Final Boss

The Blood and Wine DLC for The Witcher 3 is considered to be one of the greatest expansion packs in video game history. It features the beautiful region of Toussaint, plenty of new missions, and a boss fight that completely outshines Eredin's pathetic attempt at being the game's main antagonist.

The DLC revolves around capturing the so-called Beast of Beauclair, who in reality is a very old and very powerful higher vampire named Dettlaff. Depending on which choices the player makes throughout their mission in Toussaint, Geralt can end up fighting Detlaff, and as soon as the man turns into his true vampiric form, you realize that the Wild Hunt is probably the least of the Witcher's worries.

With the ability to fly, teleport, spawn hordes of bats, and even warp reality itself, Dettlaff takes a considerable amount of skill and preparation to take down. The player really needs to get a good understanding of his moveset and use all of the advantages at their disposal in order to take him down.

He even has three distinct phases in his fight, once again putting Eredin and his two-stage duel to shame.
