3. Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story
Though it's perhaps not the most original title on the Switch eShop, Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story is a quaint game that is a combination of management simulator and JRPG, with dungeon crawling elements.
Mainly a management sim, Valthirian Arc makes you the newest principal of a so-called "hero school" that is host to a range of students, including warriors and mages.
As you build up your school, unlocking classrooms, classes, and new skills, you will also need to develop your students so that you can choose who should graduate from your hero academy when the time comes. After you create armour and weapons for them, and place them into teams, your students will embark on missions in a more JRPG element of the game - some of which you accompany them on, and some that happen off-screen.
This is an enjoyable title, even if it's not the most challenging game you will ever play. Valthirian Arc's roots might be in a fairly simple, free-to-play Flash game, but this version for Switch is definitely worth investigating if the premise piques your interest.
