2. The Escapists 2
Successor to The Escapists, this game adds a multiplayer option as you attempt to escape from one of the toughest prisons in the world.
Multiplayer lets you have a two-player local split-screen mode, and you can choose whether you team up with your fellow inmate, or work against each other to discover who can be the most stealthy and cunning, and escape the prison first. There is also the option to go online and work with, or against, up to three others.
The Escapists 2 presents you with a large prison made up of multiple floors, featuring underground tunnels and vents that are prime escape inspiration. You create weapons and tools for your escape by combining everyday items that you find throughout the prison, while prepping for upcoming combat by visiting the prison gym regularly.
Though the end goal of The Escapists 2 is to escape, this game is not only about that; you have to make sure that you follow the institution's rules, complete assigned jobs, and are present for roll call so that nobody suspects that you could be plotting an escape.
