10 Overlooked Video Games By Great Publishers
2. Sayonara Wild Hearts - Annapurna Interactive
Annapurna Interactive's name may not carry the immediately identifiable weight of, say, Rockstar or Square Enix, but over the last five years they've cornered the market on delivering an enticing slate of left-field titles focused on unconventional gameplay and emotional storytelling.
Some of their bigger hits include the likes of What Remains of Edith Finch, Flower, Gone Home, Outer Wilds, Telling Lies, Kentucky Route Zero, and most recently, Stray.
But one fantastic game that's sadly been lost in the shuffle? Sayonara Wild Hearts - a gorgeous rhythm-actioner released in 2019 to strong acclaim, which while extremely short and mechanically simple, is one of the most visually stunning games of any kind released this past decade.
Though widely lauded by critics and nominated for three Game Awards, it didn't make much impact with the wider gaming sphere, and sadly hasn't amassed the same following as Annapurna's most prominent releases.
Seriously, if you haven't played Sayonara Wild Hearts yet, go pick it up for a couple of bucks right now.
