The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is all about a sense of adventure and exploring the seas on your boat.

But who's got time for that? It's so much better to turn Link into a Hylian torpedo and get to where you want instantly.

Superswim is a speedrunning exploit that allows you to rapidly accelerate Link's swimming speed, making it easy to access any location in the game in seconds.

To make the exploit work, you need to camera-lock Link with the Wind Waker instrument, as he jumps into a body of water. The movement will allow you to rotate the camera while it's technically locked, which will begin to build up speed that will propel Link in a specified direction once you exit the Wind Waker song menu.

The method for this has been refined over the years, but the speed you can set for Link with this method can be truly staggering, making him pass through huge chunks of the map in seconds.

It's a great speedrunning tactic, but it can also prove incredibly useful in a regular run, on top of being hilarious to watch.

Who doesn't love watching a kid crash through waves at breakneck speeds?
