One of the more annoying parts of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the short durability of pretty much every weapon in the game.

Even the most powerful equipment will eventually break and crumble away, which is why it’s especially painful that the one time you get your hands on a deadly and indestructible bow, you can only use it in the final boss fight with Ganon.

The Bow of Light is a unique, legendary bow that Princess Zelda gifts to Link at the end of the game to help him destroy his arch-nemesis. It has an attack power of 100 and shoots special light arrows that explode on impact.

Using the bow during the final encounter makes you feel genuinely overpowered, as even a single shot from it is capable of taking away a huge chunk of Ganon’s health. It makes for a rather satisfying and climactic end to your quest, although you kind of wish there was a way to keep it around after the fight.

After all, maybe if Link had it on himself at all times, Ganon would think twice about coming back to ruin Hyrule like some Saturday morning cartoon villain of the week.
