10 Overpowered Video Game Weapons You Can Only Use ONCE

The weapons in the Fallout series can use some pretty wacky stuff as ammo sometimes. Throughout the years, we’ve seen guns that launch teddy bears, rail spikes, and bowling balls, but there is also one weapon whose ammunition is so weird and alien that once you run out of it, you won’t be able to use it ever again.

The alien blaster from Fallout 4 is a unique handgun that can be found near a crashed UFO west of Cambridge. The blaster shoots unique blue projectiles that deal more damage than any other laser weapon in the game. However, the source of its power comes from special alien rounds that can only be looted from the gun's previous owner.

Thanks to its relative proximity to the starting location, you can actually get the blaster pretty quickly and kill even the toughest of Fallout 4's enemies with ease. Unfortunately, once you run out of ammo for it, the blaster’s awesome power is gone for good.

You can technically still use it if you replace its magazine with a regular laser pistol one, but it makes it significantly weaker in combat.

Patrolling the Commonwealth with the modded variant will make you wish for an alien invasion.
