10 Perfect Video Game Ideas EVERYONE Is Ignoring
7. Zombie MMO
While online zombie-slaying did have a brief moment in the sun with 2003's Resident Evil Outbreak, we were going to aim a bit higher.
Imagine this for a moment; you buy a new MMO which pitches itself as a simple Second Life-style experience. It's not an RPG or a persistent shooter, but just a place to enjoy yourself without the troubles of PVP or hordes.
For the first few months, everything is normal. You buy a house, maybe settle down with a significant other and it seems like your digital life is all coming up daisies. That is, until the outbreak.
Zombies start filling the streets and your house is ransacked, either by a herd or some kind of military operation to quell the zombie infestation. This world you loved is gone, while the game itself has changed from a simple life simulation to an all-out war for survival.
Finding new shelters, going out on runs with fellow survivors, all of it would be the new normal. Think of it as The Division meets The Walking Dead, where playing alone is certainly doable, but jolly co-operation is encouraged to survive the zombie hordes.
Not to mention the humans.
