10 Perfect Ways To Make The Witcher 4
4. Create A Stronger Antagonist That Eredin
The story around Ciri and the Wild Hunt built spectacularly well through the events of The Witcher 3, but in the end its conclusions fall a little flat thanks to some underwhelming final exchanges. The scenes between Geralt and Ciri are ultimately great, but it's what precedes that struggled to truly entertain.
Mostly this was thanks to a pretty weak big bad boss. Eredin, as head of the Wild Hunt, started his life in the game as a menacing threat who seemed to wield enormous power as he devastated towns with ice in his quest to capture Ciri. As time wore on, however, his threats and plots began to feel mundane and lacklustre.
His final fight with Geralt was also majorly disappointing, with a large portion of the battling creatures in the game's side quests putting up more of a fight. A stronger antagonist, both in personality and combat proficiency, would definitely need to be a priority to capture a really engaging final act to the story in The Witcher 4.
