10 Potential FIFA 18 Player Career Mode Improvements
6. Secondary Positions
This is actually a hugely irritating part of the game. Maybe when you select your club, you want to head straight into the Premier League. However, you know with certainty in pretty much every case that your starting attributes won't be good enough to start, and thus, you'll either be chucked straight on the loan list, or play once a month and it'll take a while before you can break into the side.
Inevitably, a lot of people start as a striker. With many teams playing one up front, it makes it even harder to break in. Why not have the option of adding a secondary position? It could make the difference early in your game to get you time on the pitch. Maybe you're a striker who also wants to be able to play just behind, or out on the wing, or even at centre half for the hell of it. Why not allow your player to be as flexible or as inflexible as you like?
If you want to start your career at Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus or Bayern Munich for example, it'll take you ages to become a regular. Having another position or two just makes it a little easier to get crucial game time.
