10 Potential FIFA 18 Player Career Mode Improvements
5. Interviews
I'm sure if and when they introduce this to player career mode, it'll get repetitive quickly. There's also a chance you'll end up as boring as any other big footballer, spouting off meaningless cliches to a clearly bored interviewer. But there's also a chance this can be used to complain about a lack of first team football, or a need to fix a part of the pitch which clearly needs a new signing, or even a chance to moan about the manager's tactics. Interviews can be used for good, but it can also be used to cause mischief or just speak your mind on the current state of your team.
It's not even something that needs to be there before and after every game. You could get away with an interview in pre-season, after the season, before a cup final, or even just after a man of the match performance. It's something you can bring in gradually, with a view to tweaking it and making it a really cool feature in the game a few years down the line.
As mentioned, it might be a clunky feature the first time it is implemented, but that's not a good enough argument to just never bother with it at all. And for everyone who take this game too seriously, it might be more productive than yelling at your television.
