If there's one game in the Souls series that doesn't quite get as much love as the others, it's Demon's Souls. While it's showing its age now, this fantastic game gave birth to the genre as we know it, and is a must play for any Souls fan.
If rumours are to be believed, Bluepoint Games, the masters of the remaster, are hard at work on producing a new version of Demon's Souls for the PS5. You'll remember these guys as the ones who created the stunning remaster of Shadow of the Colossus, so we know that the IP is certainly in good hands.
If Demon's Souls is polished up to a modern sheen, with all the innovations that Dark Souls brung, it could be the next big hit in the series.
If Bluepoint aren't working on this, they have definitely said that they're working on some kind of remaster. There's a lot of evidence pointing to Demon's Souls though, including a selection of cryptic tweets that the studio has been putting out recently.
