10 Rare Video Game Items You Had ONE CHANCE To Obtain
9. Lynel Weapons - Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
The fact that the weapons in Breath of the Wild break over time can be a bit annoying, but luckily, most in the game respawn with every Blood Moon event. This said, the key word here is 'most', as there are some exceptions.
Yes, some items do not respawn at all, so once you get your hands on them, it'll be the first and last time you can use them. The list of non-respawnable items includes the Forest Dweller's Sword, the Kite Shield, and probably the rarest of them all: Lynel Weapons.
The unique aspect of the Lynels (the big centaurs with the body of an angry truck) is that they scale with the player.
Whenever you defeat an enemy, the game adjusts its difficulty rating and eventually replaces some enemies with their stronger variants. In the Lynels' case, it also means changing their weaponry.
Once weaker Lynels are replaced with their silver counterparts, you will not be able to acquire those original weapons. You only have a limited amount of time to get them, so if you're the type of person who likes to collect everything, you should start hunting them down asap.
