7. Nahkriin - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The unmarked quest for the dragon priest masks is one of the longest and most difficult in Skyrim. It requires you to fight eight ancient priests, which is easier said than done as one of them is hidden inside a location you only get to visit once in the entire game.
Towards the end of Skyrim's main questline, the player needs to mount a captured dragon to travel to a remote temple called Skuldafn. The temple is guarded by one of the dragon priests named Nahkriin, who might seem threatening, but it's actually in your best interest to fight him. You see, the priest is in possession of his own mask, and since Skuldafn is only accessible for one mission, you won't be able to go back.
Nahkriin's mask, also called Nahkriin (points for creativity there), is both a required piece in your mask collection and an incredibly powerful item for spellcasters. It increases your magicka exponentially and reduces the cost of destruction spells by a whole 20%.
The NPCs in Skuldafn will try to make you rush things, but don't cave. After all, Skyrim's AI isn't known for its intelligence.
