10 Rarest PS1 Games Ever

7. Mega Man Legends 2

New: $300 | Used: $100 Mega Man? Rare? Really? The blue-armoured little guy is one of the most ubiquitous video game heroes of the 90s, so you wouldn't have thought that one of his games would end up being one of the most coveted treasures on the PSX. The Legends branch of the Mega Man series took things in a new direction, turning it into a 3D action adventure - a logical direction at a time when everyone in the world was swooning over polygonal graphics. Legends 2 has definitely aged worse than its timeless 16-bit predecessors, but it's still an enjoyable romp with a decent story and plenty of the big-boss-blasting fun that the series is renowned for. The value of the game has risen considerably in recent years, possibly due to the much-maligned cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3 for the Nintendo 3DS in 2011. The anticipation surrounding the doomed game created plenty of interest around its rare predecessor, and now that it's been cancelled, Legends 2 has become more precious than ever.
