10 Reasons Infinite Warfare Just Killed Call Of Duty

6. There Aren't Any Iconic Multiplayer Maps

Even ignoring the major technical issues assailing the game's multiplayer, there's the basic fact that IW's map selection is, well, pretty lackluster for the most part.

Just like with Black Ops 3, the maps don't do enough to emphasise the verticality that the boosters and wall-running allow, with invisible restrictions often preventing players from reaching areas that they absolutely should be able to.

The maps are largely quite forgettable, and while usually a CoD game will throw out at least one or two distinct maps you'll find yourself missing in the next game, IW falls rather flat when it comes to level design.

Nothing to see here, unfortunately. Could this be yet another sign of the series' creative stagnation?
