10 Reasons Rocksteady's Next Arkham Game Should Be Batwoman

10. Arkham Knight Subtly Introduced Kate Kane

Batman: Arkham Knight included an all-time great Easter egg when it referenced Batman, doing so in a manner that contradicted DC editorial's decision to forbid Kate Kane's marriage with her longtime partner, Maggie Sawyer.

As Bruce makes his way to his answering machine in Wayne Tower, he can listen to voicemails from both Lex Luthor and Kate Kane. At the time the former seemed like it was a deliberate means of foreshadowing a Superman game - or at least a future Arkham title featuring Lex as a villain - so why did people treat the second exchange involving Kate any less significantly?

The obvious distinction to be made is that Lex is a decades-old character and a staple of the DC universe, but the decision to explicitly confirm Batwoman's presence is equally important. Remember, Maggie was a cop in Metropolis before she joined the GCPD, so there's already a link between the two there.

Either way, Rocksteady's nod towards Kate shouldn't be forgotten, and especially not given the way Arkham Knight ended.
