4. The Visuals Are Vastly Superior To Other Star Wars Games

We've already talked about how good Star Wars Battlefront sounds compared to the movies that inspired it, but how about those visuals, too? Given the scope and size of the game's encounters, it's immensely impressive to see just how good the game looks at every single turn.

For a start, the battlegrounds are perfectly realised to look just like the iconic locations from the original trilogy. The thick foliage and treetop villages of Endor bustle with wildlife as battles rage on, while the harsh plains of Hoth look as daunting and unforgiving as you'd expect from the remote ice planet. Never before have these Star Wars locations looked so good outside of the movies.

It's not just a case of having decent graphics on a sweet canvas, either, and the active visuals of each battle are just as impressive. Everything from the laboured steps of a hulking AT-AT right down to the ruffles on the camouflaged uniforms of an Endor Rebel is just as gorgeous to behold.

Perhaps it's unfair to judge the visuals of this game against other Star Wars titles that play on now-dated hardware, but there's still no denying the sheer superiority of Star Wars Battlefront's aesthetics.
