10 Reasons The PS4.5 Is Sony's Biggest Mistake This Generation
7. It's Going To Make Marketing A Nightmare
Look, when it comes to marketing and hyping new games, there's no way Sony - or any publisher for that matter - is going to be able to make a PS4 version look appealing next to the 4.5.
Obviously, the companies are going to want to show off the most visually striking version of their game, and thus there's no doubt that trailers running on 4.5 builds are going to be showcased in the run up to a title's release.
And while we're pretty sure Sony has to show off the PS4 version of the game in some form, the disparity between the two builds isn't exactly going to go down well with those unwilling - or unable - to pick up the new console.
From The Division to even critical darlings like The Witcher 3, graphical downgrades are always blown out of proportion in the gaming world, so imagine the backlash the company would receive from consumers who already feel ripped off due to the introduction of a stopgap console.
