One thing that Call Of Duty introduced to the online shooting sphere was challenges, whereby players would gain colossal amounts of experience for various feats throughout the game, such as getting 300 kills with an AK-47, or scoring 100 knife kills, and every obscure achievement in between. Titanfall has taken this on board, but what's most impressive is how steady the stream of challenges seem to be: little more than a few minutes will go by before that satisfying yellow text reading "CHALLENGE COMPLETED" will appear, usually rewarding you with a few thousand XP, and if you're lucky, maybe as much as 10,000. This should be compared to the last COD game in particular, Ghosts, which really felt like it dropped the ball in terms of challenges. Playing through to Prestige felt curiously barren on the achievements front, and though we as players don't need to be bombarded with positive reinforcement every 2 minutes, it breaks the gameplay up and makes it feel like less of a grind.
