10 Reasons Watch Dogs Is A Huge Disappointment

9. Driving Is Really, Really Bad

Perhaps we've just been spoiled with the perfect driving mechanics of GTA V, but the first time you step into a car in Watch Dogs is extremely jarring. The most noticeable issue is the incredibly floaty, ridiculously unresponsive controls (and to be honest, this isn't just limited to driving), making driving less fun and more of a chore. This pretty much guarantees that on numerous occasions you'll flag up unwanted police attention because you've accidentally ploughed into a group of hapless pedestrians while trying to navigate a turn. On top of this, there's the rather unconvincing physics and damage models: is there anything more infuriating than effortlessly ramming your way through a convoy of cop cars only to be stopped dead in your tracks by...a tree? Here's some advice: the sexier cars are a pain to steer, so stick to something sturdy and reliable. It might not be as fast or look as cool, but will ultimately get you there much quicker.
