10 Reasons Watch Dogs Is A Huge Disappointment

4. Annoying Mini-Games

Some missions even include some aggressively awful mini-games, like the above drinking game sequence which takes place in the second half of the game, and is rendered controller-throwingly annoying due to the game's aforementioned floaty controls. Then there's the hacking mini-games, which start off fun though involve very little variation beyond finding the correct route to a lock before the timer runs out, and by game's end, they've become more tiresome than enjoyable. There are also repetitive sections which involve hacking a network of cameras in order to unlock a junction box or hack a mainframe: these mini-games of sorts almost always follow the same formula of bouncing between a few line-of-sight cameras before you reach the target, but it's just not very involving or challenging as a player, despite being a nice idea in principle.
