Throughout the game you'll find yourself thinking 'been there, done that'. Whether it's the marines throwing profanity, the wading through infested sewers or the entanglement of a corporation's conspiracy. It seems since 1986 a lot of films and games have been borrowing from Cameron's classic. Halo stole the wise-cracking marines, Half-Life the face-hugging Headcrabs and even Starship Troopers all-but ripped off the premise.
