10 Reasons Why Sly Cooper Deserves A Reboot
1. Thieves In Time Ending
The fourth installment in the series was truly something to
behold, taking criticism and suggestions from previous games, while also
keeping what makes this series so charming. However, the ending of this game
left most people wanting even more.
Although a mostly happy ending, with the Cooper Clan being saved and the main villain apprehended, this game also ends with far too many open endings. Sly is found stranded in ancient Egypt, the gang breaks up, and Bentley is constantly searching for Sly.
On top of all of this, Penelope has escaped from prison and taken it upon herself to leave a signature mark on postcards that she sends to Bentley. The idea that a fifth game could include Penelope as the main villain would be extremely interesting given the intense history that she has with the gang.
Not only do we have these facts, but we now know that not only is time travel possible, but they will have to do it in order to save Sly from his current situation.
At the end of each game, they always set up a cliffhanger, and this fourth game is no exception to that rule.
