10 Reasons You Were Wrong About GTA IV

7. Liberty City

It's true that Rockstar seem never to have had a problem with getting locations right within their big, open world titles and GTA IV's version of Liberty City was absolutely no exception to this. Liberty City - the series' recreation of New York - represents probably the busiest location the studio have tackled, but that daunting task was dealt with perfectly. The streets truly felt alive in Liberty City, with the various districts operating with the various character types one would expect in real life counterpart NYC. Strolling around the park will present players with joggers and flirting couples, while striding the streets will see them bumps into suit-clad businessmen and hustling hobos. The beauty of Liberty City isn't just in the inhabitants, either. While the map may not match the variety offered in a region like San Andreas, Rockstar managed to make it genuinely feel like a city. Bustling, impressive and at times more than a little imposing, Liberty City is one of Rockstar's greatest creations to date.
